Emacs: ef-halloween-dark is in ef-themes.git
I designed the basis of this theme during a live stream earlier today: https://protesilaos.com/codelog/2026-10-31-emacs-live-ef-themes-halloween/. Then I followed it up with refinements to colour values and palette mappings. The light counterpart of this theme will be the subject of further development work, maybe tomorrow or next week.
When I include “light” or “dark” in the theme’s name, it means that I have envisaged it as part of a pair. Most themes are not designed as pairs though, as certain colours cannot work in both cases.

ef-halloween-dark
Coming in version 2.3.0 (next stable release)
I may still tweak it further, but the character is already set. It captures the style I had in mind and I am happy with the result.
Remember that since version 2.0.0, the ef-themes are built on top
of my modus-themes. This means that they are highly customisable,
support a wide range of packages and face groups, and are extensively
tested down to the finest details.
Enjoy!
The ef-themes are a collection of light and dark themes for GNU
Emacs that provide colourful (“pretty”) yet legible options for users
who want something with a bit more flair than the modus-themes (also
designed by me).
